Sheryl Hunter, Esquire, has a passion for entrepreneurship and small businesses. She is not only an attorney with 18 years of legal experience, she’s an entrepreneur and business owner. Her business experience enables her to understand the challenges and opportunities facing her small business clients and to think about the broader impact of legal decisions and documents. She also enjoys inspiring and supporting people as they pursue their dreams.

  • Inspired by her experience caring for two family members with Alzheimer’s Disease and her legal and volunteer work on behalf of the  elderly, Sheryl educates individuals and business owners on how to meet the needs of seniors and family caregivers through her company Lifelines Academy & Network.
    • Sheryl has co-developed three professional certifications and over 30 webinars. Subjects include: LifeDocuments Organizing and Health Information Organizing; Ethics and the Confused Client Ethics and the Confused Client - Guidance for Professionals when a Client’s Capacity Comes Into Question; and Domestic Violence and the Elder Population.

CIVIC CONTRIBUTIONS

  • Chair of the Board of Directors, National Stuttering Association 2012 to present.
  • Co-Chair, Family Programs, National Stuttering Association 2010-2012. Founded and hosted NSA Family Radio, an online support group for parents of children who stutter, and kids who stutter.
  • VIBE, BVG Incorporated January 2007-2008. Founded corporate social responsibility initiative (VIBE) and chaired its volunteer board of BVG employees. VIBE provided support and services to Faith Café and Habitat for Humanity.
  • Tampa Crossroads, Inc. Board of Directors, 1998-2004. Board President 2001-2002. Provided leadership and active board participation to nonprofit serving criminal offenders who have re-entered society. Spearheaded social entrepreneurship initiative to promote greater capacity to self-fund and eventually provide employment opportunities to graduating clients.

Successfully argued before Governor Chiles and Cabinet for early release of incarcerated abuse victim.

Adam Hersh

Adam Hersh, Esquire is a multi-state licensed attorney and certified mediator with a passion for helping to launch, protect and advise small businesses as they grow. Adam knows what a small business needs to do to be successful from his previous experiences in optimizing the growth of healthy businesses and in restructuring troubled businesses. Specifically, Adam served as in house corporate counsel for a publicly traded company and assisted in restructuring businesses through his experience in the United States Bankruptcy Court. Adam is also skilled at negotiation and dispute resolution techniques that are vital to achieving favorable contract terms and settling disputes.

Ajay Singh, Esquire, CPA, is adept at helping small businesses construct sound legal and tax strategies. Ajay brings a unique perspective to Hunter Business Law clients by being both a licensed attorney as well as a certified public accountant. He can understand the mindset of an entrepreneur having been the managing owner of his own accounting and law firms.

Ajay also provides Hunter Business law clients with strategies in the area of negotiation and dispute resolution. Previously he served as Adjunct Professor of Negotiation and Mediation at his alma mater, University of Florida Levin College of Law. His background in asset protection, tax planning, contract negotiations and alternative dispute resolution is invaluable for small business owners.

Ajay previously worked with Deloitte and Touche where he advised both publicly traded and private companies in a wide variety of industries. His broad experience allows him to support and foster the growth of Hunter Business Law clients from start-up to buy-out.
